Who we are
Our Services
JT Aviation is built around a simple idea: aircraft maintenance should be professional, transparent, and dependable. We provide comprehensive maintenance support for aircraft owners and operators, from routine maintenance and inspections to troubleshooting, repairs, avionics installations, propeller balancing, and AOG support. Whether an aircraft is in our shop or we are traveling to it, we approach every job with the same level of care and attention to detail.
We understand that maintaining an aircraft is about more than completing a checklist. It is about understanding the aircraft, identifying problems before they become bigger ones, and giving owners the information they need to make confident decisions. We take the time to communicate what we find, explain what is needed, and perform the work to a standard we are proud to put our name behind.
At JT Aviation, we are committed to building long-term relationships with the owners and operators we serve. Our goal is to be the maintenance provider you know you can call, whether you need routine service, a complex repair, help troubleshooting an issue, or support when an aircraft is unexpectedly grounded. We hope to earn your business through quality work, honest communication, and service you can count on.
Meet Chase
Chase Travers
Founder • A&P / IA
I’ve always had a passion for aviation and knew I wanted to make a career out of working with aircraft. Over the past several years, I’ve gained experience across corporate and general aviation, with a particular focus on inspections, landing gear, and fuel systems. I earned my A&P in 2020 and my IA in 2025.
After years of wanting to build a maintenance company of my own, I decided to take the leap and create JT Aviation. My goal is to build a company where integrity, transparency, and quality workmanship come first, while creating a maintenance experience where aircraft owners know they can trust the people working on their airplane.
The name JT Aviation carries a personal meaning. JT represents my father’s initials, and after his passing, I chose to carry his initials forward as a way of building something lasting in his name.

Apprentice A&P
As a U.S. Navy-trained Avionics Technician, my foundation in aviation began where safety matters most: hands-on with complex aircraft systems. To understand flight from every angle, I earned a degree in professional flight technology and a commercial pilot rating, gaining real-world perspective from the cockpit. That combination of flying experience and technical discipline led me to L3Harris Avionics Systems, where I spent time troubleshooting and supporting advanced flight systems.
Today, I bring that extensive technical background to JT Aviation, where I am completing my Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) apprenticeship. This work is a deliberate return to my true passion: hands-on general aviation aircraft repair out on the ramp and in the hangar, keeping your aircraft safe, reliable, and ready to fly!
